Bond No 9 celebrates anniversary
Niche US fragrance brand Bond No 9 is celebrating ten years in business with the release of Perfumista Avenue for women and New York Patchouli for women and men this month.
Perfumista Avenue is an edp meant to evoke the east and west sides of New York, and is based on rose, the official state flower. It comes in a metallic pink bottle in the brand’s usual ‘squeezed’ shape embossed with the Bond No 9 NYC logo in gold. It has top notes of artemisia, plum, saffron and nutmeg, heart notes of rose oil, rose water, peony and jasmine and base notes of amber, patchouli, musk and mate. It is available in 50ml and 100ml, costing $260 and $340 respectively, and also in a body silk ($160), candle ($150) and pocket spray ($85).
For the Christmas period, the fragrance will be available in a limited edition 100ml version coated with Swarovski crystals, costing $1,000. New York Patchouli is a unisex oriental floral fragrance with head notes of bergamot, rose water and lychee, heart notes of patchouli, lily and lilac and base notes of amber, sandalwood, musk and atlas cedar. It comes in a deep purple and gold bottle, again costing $260 for a 50ml and $340 for a 100ml edp. The limited edition bottle will feature purple Swarovski crystals.
