Riverside Plastics, the South Wales-based bottle manufacturer has, after development work, created a collection of two bottles, 250ml and 500ml, for a new range of antibacterial handwash to be launched by John Drury & Co Limited, the soap manufacturer based in Brighouse, Yorkshire.
The small bottle, 250ml, came from Riverside's standard range but a new tool has been put down for the 500ml unit. Both the 250ml and 500ml will be launched through Booker stores with Morrisons also taking both bottles this autumn. The bottles will be extrusion blow moulded in natural high-density polyethylene with pumps supplied by Bespak for 250ml and Seaquist for 500ml. Labels will come from SA Labels of Keighley, Bradford.
Edward Drury, director and fifth generation of the founding family, said: “We have been producing soaps and soap products on this site now for more than 100 years and we have reacted to changing conditions, indeed helped change them, during that period. The emergent personal hygiene product now comprises liquid soaps, shower gels and shampoos and I am glad that Riverside Plastics is helping us to increase our share in that sector.”
