Cerulean showcases tube testing machine
Q-Test is first fully automated testing system for laminate and plastic tubes
Cerulean Packing, part of Molins PLC and sister company of Langen Packaging, launched its new tube testing machine Q-Test, claimed to be the first ever fully automated testing system for laminate and plastic tubes, at this year’s Interpack.
Tube testing as part of the packaging process currently requires manual testing which is time consuming and can be inconsistent. Cerulean Q-Test removes the need for manual testing and is said to offer accuracy and repeatability as well as providing a full history of quantifiable results that can be used to help improve product quality.
