Summary
Greentech derives active cosmetic ingredients from plants extracts or micro-organisms.
Profile
Greentech produces phytobioactives from natural extracts, prepared according to specific processes. Using high-performing technologies such as extraction with supercritic CO2 we achieve enzymatic bio-purication or bioconversion.
Phytobioactives give a maximal concentration in active constituents. Two different types of Phytobioactives are produced:

(1) Phytobioactives from plants where material is selected by the composition of the original constituents. Those constituents are chosen for their biological activity. Lately, Greentech has been using bio-informatics to help select new actives. These use the same process as the pharmaceutical industry.
(2) Phytobioactives from pure strains of micro-organisms. Those actives are bio-synthetized in strictly controlled conditions and purified by high-tech techniques. The phytobioactives cosmetic efficiency is guaranteed by in vitro/or in vivo tests to assesstheir activity mechanisms and to test their suitability for dermocosmetic application.
Application areas
Body and face care : Flower acids, ARP 100, Hydralys M, Kigeline, Protectol, Liftiss, Cariciline,...
Sun care : Nucleolys, Tamanol...
Hair care : Gleditschia, Kapilarine
Who we are
GREENTECH was created in 1992 and is located in France.
GREENTECH has the mission to research new bioactive natural molecules from vegetal, marine, and microbiology with the aim to develop, produce and offer new active ingredients directed mainly to dermo-cosmetology and nutraceutic.
Cosmetic and nutraceutic sectors need a continuous innovation for active ingredients, which leads to a permanent research of new molecules and/or new biological action mechanisms.
GREENTECH’s research laboratory has specialists in various sectors (vegetal and animal physiology, nutrition, biology, cosmetology, chemistry, bio-processing and microbiology) working with extraction techniques, purification and bioprocess of molecular modification. The new molecules research, their physical-chemical characterisation, their eventual modification by biotechnological processes (biocatalysis and bioconversion) and the research of their biological activities, allow a range of products of more than 3 000 references.
What we do
• PHYTOBIOACTIVES Active ingredients from natural origin produced through specific processes. PHYTOBIOACTIVES give maximum concentration in active constituents. The PHYTOBIOACTIVES cosmetic efficiency is guaranteed by in vitro and/or in vivo tests allowing to validate their activity mechanisms.
• COSMELENES® Vegetal hydro soluble standardised extracts range. Their concentration in titrated active ingredients are close to the ones of fresh plant.
• LIPACTIVES Liposoluble natural actives which allows optimising the cosmetic formulation efficiency while enabling formulators to increase the concentration in active principles.
• CRYOEXTRACTS Result of cryo-extraction, an innovative and patented technology: The best of natural extract from fresh plants.
• SOFT BUTTERS For a different touch with a lighter texture than ordinary oils and butters.
• VEGETAL AND MARINE EXTRACTS/ORGANIC VEGETAL EXTRACTS A wide variety of pure or mix versions is proposed to the formulator. The non exhaustive list proposes more than 2500 references from worldwide and with different solvents and versions.
• ORGANIC CERTIFIED RANGE From each range some of our actives and extracts are available also for Organic formulations.

Last products launched (Phytobioactives)
• TIMILINE® Thanks to 4 different actions on the adipokine FIAF pathway, TIMILINE® induces a reduction of cellulite and an increase of the skin firmness. TIMILINE® is an efficient slimming and firming agent.
• SILIDINE® From marine origin (microalga) SILIDINE® is a subtle mix between oligosaccharides and essential oligoelements, which enhances a constriction of the dilated vessels, responsible for the heavy legs syndrome and rosacea.
• SOMITINE® Developed by biotechnology with the aim to recharge the batteries of cells, SOMITINE® improves the energy metabolism by increasing both the respiratory chain and the glucose metabolism. The skin thus is revitalised, gaining radiance and luminosity.
• XCELL-30® Obtained from a red alga, XCELL-30® extends the life cycle of cell, enhances the accumulation of keratinocytes and slows down their differentiation. The “youth capital” of cells is preserved, the cutaneous barrier functions are improved and the skin looks younger. Fighting against over desquamation, XCELL-30® is also efficient against psoriasis and dandruff occurrence.
• SETILINE® has a global effect against ageing. It acts simultaneously and significantly in vitro against glycation in the dermis and skin keratinisation in the epidermis. Thus this anti-ageing active helps the skin maintain suppleness, firmness and elasticity. SETILINE® consequently has a smoothing and anti-wrinkle effect. Tests on volunteers show a decrease in wrinkles of nearly 10% among 67% of volunteers.
