Body powder

• Imerys talcs, with their soft, slippery feel, are best known to the general public as body powders. Applied after bathing, talc prevents chafing and imparts a pleasant, soothing, cool sensation to the skin.
• Imerys talcs are excellent fragrance carriers for scented body powders. The surfaces of the talc platelets retain the perfume with the minimum loss of potency.

Make-up

• Imerys Talc offers a full line of cosmetic talcs to meet the make-up formulator's requirements in terms of: softness, spreadability, optical properties (i.e. the degree of matt/gloss and transparency/opacity required).

Pharmaceuticals

• Imerys talcs are ideal excipients because they are inert. They also act as anti-sticking agents, glidants to control powder flow and as lubricants for tableting.
• Imerys Talc offers a complete product line of pharmaceutical grades which meets the specifications of the American, Japanese and European pharmacopoeias.
