Roads launches with ten fragrances inspired by places, people, specific times in history, emotions, experiences and art

Business woman and art lover Danielle Ryan, part of the Ryanair aviation dynasty, has introduced Roads, a lifestyle brand comprising a fragrance house, publishing company and a feature film and documentary company, described as a metaphor for the many choices and decisions we are faced with every day.

In its fragrance incarnation, Roads comprises ten scents inspired by places, people, specific times in history, emotions, experiences and art. Lights is said to represent optimism and features clove bud, while bergamot peel and fir balsam-containing Clockwork represents elegance of precision. Other fragrances in the range are elegant floral scent Graduate 1954, which is inspired by women in the 1950s, who had to used femininity to achieve their goals; Harmattan, inspired by the wind of the same name, which crosses the Sahara once a year creating a strange warm haze in the air; Bitter End, an oak moss led aroma, which represents the beautiful but barren west of Ireland; aldehydic This Weekend; Cloud 9, described as clean and calm, and containing chamomile oil and lily of the valley; 'colourful and huge' scent Supernova; White Noise, which was inspired by active yet peaceful static frequency and includes a 'watery accord' among its head notes; and Neon, described as florescent and alive.

Roads fragrances cost £98 for 50ml and will launch in Selfridges in the UK, Brown Thomas in Ireland, Barneys in New York in the US and NK Stockholm in Sweden.
