Diba introduces MicroBarb connectors

Diba Industries has introduced MicroBarb connectors designed for micro-bore pump and pinch valve tubing applications. The chemically inert fittings provide a low carry-over connection between flexible pump tubing and semi-rigid fluoropolymer tubing.

According to Diba, the MicroBarb fittings are easy to use stretching the ID (inside diameter) over the internal barb while compressing the tubing OD (outside diameter) in the female threaded fitting for a secure fit that guards against leaks and carryover. Made from polyaryletheretherketone (PEEK) plastic, the fittings are able to withstand high temperatures and pressures and can be used with any soft tubing including PVC, silicone, santoprene, pharmed, marprene viton and chemsure.

Moreover, the MicroBarb accommodates all tubing ID sizes from 0.010 to 0.060 inches and OD sizes from 0.062 to 0.156 inches.
