Ecobeads™ are a proven biodegradable, low-cost yet effective exfoliant with superior skin feel; suitable for daily use and guaranteed to be free from polyethylene and other microplastics.
Mechanical exfoliation loosens and removes the outer dead epidermal skin cells (corneocytes), stimulating cell turnover. The International Dermal Institute does not recommend the use of crushed fruit pits; shells or similar damaging substrates. Ecobeads are non-irritating, smooth, microspheres produced using a blend of botanical waxes and wax esters.
