An unmissable opportunity has come about within an up-and-coming Pharmaceutical CMO that will give the right candidate a chance to shine as the Formulation Director.
They offer unique Pharmaceutical services that cover research, development and Clinical trials across the industry, with a key focus on finding their clients the perfect solutions. By helping to push forward the capabilities of the formulation team, you will play an integral part in the success of this business.
The state-of-the-art facilities will help to ensure you plan, coordinate and undertake all projects, consistently delivering to agreed quality standards and meeting client specifications within agreed deadlines. The fast-paced environment will offer short and long term projects that offer huge scope in your workload.
The position will manage a team of formulation specialists and the key objectives of the role include:
- Coaching and mentoring the technical team to further develop their scientific and quality knowledge in formulation development and characterisation
- Operationally ensure the delivery of clients and internal projects on time and within budget
- Provide leadership and strategy for client projects, techniques, and revenue streams
- Understanding clients’ needs and assisting sales and commercial in assembling, reviewing and/or approving quotations, proposals and technical specifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Educated to PhD level in a relevant discipline
- 10 + years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical Development industry
- Developed a range of dosage forms
- Experienced in risk based product development and QbD
- Relevant working knowledge of regulatory authority guidelines
