Our client is a reputable cosmetics & personal care manufacturer. Famous for their precious & natural ingredients, this British born company is now recognised for their unique and inspiring product range. Due to current growth in the company, they are now looking to strengthen their product development team by bringing in an experienced Formulation Manager to help grow what is an already impressive Skin, Hair, Bath and Body portfolio.

You will be reporting into the Head of Technical and be responsible for the following:

  • Plan and prioritise workload to meet demands in an efficient manner.
  • Develop new products that satisfy in-house and external customer requirements.
  • To take into account raw material costs when developing products.
  • To sufficiently write manufacturing instructions for all new products.
  • To take into account manufacturing restrictions and likely scale up issues during the development process.

If you have the following credentials you could be perfect for this role:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant science.
  • 3-5 years development experience.
  • Currently developing in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of the development.
  • Experience of scale up and problem solving.
  • Confident in presenting concept ideas to customers is.
