Due to continued expansion we are seeking to strengthen our sales and marketing team with an international sales rep.

Job description:

You are responsible for developing sales in the UK; you generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting the customer’s requirements. The position liaises regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a various departments, as well as senior company management.

Responsibilities:

  • Search and develop new clients on the markets in which Airopack is active, e.g. beauty and personal care, hair and skin care, OTC, food. You therefore will be mainly “on the road”;
  • Primary focus on short term business and on current product range;
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
  • Meet regular sales targets;
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor (HBO) working and thinking level
  • A solid technical affinity
  • 2-3 year experience as a salesman/saleswoman in a B2B environment (luxury / personal care packaging would be a plus)
  • Experienced working in the (primary) packaging industry is an advantage
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language verbally and in writing
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-assured and persuasive
  • Able to work independently and capable of setting priorities
  • Service minded  and capable of solving problems
  • Loyal, positive attitude and hands-on mentality
  • Can handle stress and meeting deadlines
  • No 9 to 5 mentality.
