Celebrity make-up artist tasked with bringing The London Look to the US
Rimmel London has announced that celebrity make-up artist Jo Baker is joining the brand as an Official Artist. She will be tasked with teaching global consumers how to get the brand’s signature London Look using Rimmel products.
Baker commented: “Getting to work with Rimmel London is incredibly exciting. I’m a London girl myself, so to be playing such as large role in bringing the London Look to the world is a huge honour. To me, London has always been the most inspirational city – it’s got such an eclectic, distinctive vibe to it. It’s like no other place in the world, and Rimmel London is the perfect brand to capture that feel.”
Baker started work as a make-up artist at London and Paris Fashion Weeks, aged just 19. She has since worked with Celine, LVMH and InStyle. She has also previously worked as a personal make-up artist for Usher. Other celebrity clients include: Emily Ratajkowski, Cindy Crawford, Emmy Rossum, Salma Hayek and Natalie Dormer.
Serena Giovi, Senior Vice President of Marketing of Mass Beauty at Coty, said: “Jo is an absolute legend in the industry, and we’re thrilled to have her join the Rimmel London team. We love seeing her creations and all the incredibly inventive ways she uses our products. She has such an exceptional gift for artistry, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.”
