Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton has been named as a new global spokesperson for L’Oréal Men Expert. The three time World Champion will represent Men’s Expert HydraEnergetic – a range of anti-fatigue skin care suitable for all skin types.
Cyril Chapuy, Global Brand President at L’Oréal Paris, said: “The world’s fastest driver, Lewis Hamilton, has become a legend. He likes taking risks, on the track and in his style. As the new Alpha Male by definition, he’s the ideal match for Men Expert. Modern, he’s a leader for a new generation of men for whom masculinity doesn’t mean macho – it means masculine.”
Hamilton added: “In my world, success is down to focus and efficiency. L’Oréal Men Expert has the same philosophy – and their high-tech products are made for men like me. I don’t want to waste a second and I’m used to getting the result I want. I’m proud to join the L’Oréal Men Expert club.”
Also joining the L’Oréal Men Expert team is Lucky Blue Smith – an american model and actor. Chapuy said of his appointment: “He’s the force behind his own success, a model made on social media.[…] Truly connected to his followers, he creates a whole new level of connection by organising meet ups with his fans. His incomparable, almost ethereal look and his selfie-made story is one that L’Oréal Men Expert connects with. He’s an Alpha Male, a social media-made style leader for his generation, men and women alike.”
Smith added: “I travel a lot and go to different countries almost every week. My jet lag can get out of hand and I have to take care of my skin. So when I was asked if I wanted to be one of the L’Oréal Men Expert’s faces for grooming I was super stoked and honoured. I am very excited to join the L’Oréal family and get to use amazing products every day.”
