As Project Manager you will be responsible for assisting in new product development concepts, managing and tracking timelines, whilst contributing to the company’s overall NPD Strategy. You must have an affiliation with a luxury skincare brand with exceptional standards as well as a pragmatic ‘hands on’ approach.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Contribute to NPD concepts and manage the daily running of new product development projects from concept to delivery.
• Possess strong project planning skills, manage and track project timelines to achieve launch timings and identifying risks and responsibilities.
• Oversee the chemists with the management of new formulation testing, user trials internal and external in line with the project timelines. Co-ordinate efficacy testing with the testing houses in line with the projects timelines.
• Develop long- term relationships with key suppliers - chemists, our factory and external suppliers.
• With a keen eye for costing, considering costing throughout the development.
• Work closely with marketing and production team on new product development.
• Evaluate trends through competitive shopping, newsletters, trade journals, reports and attendance at exhibitions.
• As required carry out competitor research at a field and desk level for new projects.
• Assist with briefing the formulators on new concepts and sourcing of components, including all technical data.
• Track the receipt of new product samples, and how these are distributed within the business.
• Co-ordinate user trials, providing support to the users and requesting prompt feedback.
• Track the receipt of new packaging samples and co-ordinate with the chemist testing requirements.
• Co-ordinate with the Studio new or existing packaging artworks.
• To provide administrative support as and when required, preparing agendas and taking minutes of meetings, filing testing data.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Genuine passion for skincare and holistic therapies with experience of working with or for a luxury brand.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach to tasks
• Proven experience of project management in the skincare or beauty environment is essential.
• Strong dynamic project management skills, able to prioritise and manage time
• Ability to cope with a wide range of demands in a rapidly expanding company
• Excellent communications skills
• Team player
• Strong administrator with excellent IT skills
• Keen to develop and take on additional responsibilities
