NPD Technologist £28-35,000 South London 7-Mar-2012

You will have a chemistry degree but your career will have moved away from formulating at the bench to include commercial product development for the major brands, grocers or health and beauty retailers. You will manage the NPD process, including compliance and claim substantiation dealing closely with the internal brand managers and external contract manufacturers. You will review our existing ranges and look at blue sky ideas to ensure our products perform to customer expectations. You must be flexible, used to a fast paced commercial environment and able to communicate well at all levels both internally and externally. This role requires a strong mix of technical knowledge, organisational skills, and the ability to balance the need for compliance and diligence with the commercial need for development at pace.
