Principal Chemist €43-50,000 – Ireland 5-Apr-2012

We are looking for an experienced formulator to help deliver the skincare category strategy. You will develop and deliver cost effective and robust formulations that fulfil our skincare brand ambitions in line with required launch dates. To gather, interpret and apply strategic Technical Insights to inform the Innovation process and development of Skincare Technical strategy. To manage and develop skincare chemists, lead key developments in skincare formulation technology and build our library of formulation bases. The job is based in Ireland but may involve travel throughout Europe for discussions with Marketing, Skin Research, packaging and purchasing teams as well as visits to manufacturing plants in Poland, India or China. You must be keen to extend your knowledge by attending supplier visits, courses and seminars and then pass on this knowledge to your team.
