PZ Cussons fragrance subsidiary, Seven Scent has reported a positive first year as a standalone business following its creation last May. The UK-based company is looking to broaden its customer base beyond personal care and household with strong international interest already being reported. It will however continue to supply PZ Cussons.
“Establishing the fragrance business as a company in its own right was a strategic move based on the obvious commercial value that our service can offer to a much broader audience, “ commented Nigel Weaver, md, Seven. “The transition to Seven focused on ensuring we had the capacity and infrastructure to operate independently – investment in our new compounding facilities and selective key appointments to strengthen our external team were all part of the development phase.”
