Will donate 10% of profits for a month, starting Valentine’s Day

This year, cult lipstick sealer brand Lipcote is launching a Valentine’s Day initiative in support of the Stroke Association. From 14 February, for one month Lipcote will donate 10% of the profits from every bottle sold to the association.

The brand also hopes to raise awareness of the Style for Stroke movement, spearheaded by fashion PR Nick Ede, which launched in October 2012.

Jim Swindells, head of fundraising at the Stroke Association, said: “We are delighted that Lipcote has joined the Style for Stroke movement. One third of stroke survivors, that’s about 33,000 adults every year in the UK, have communication difficulties, which can affect the ability to read write, speak and understand. We believe in life after stroke and all money raised makes a big difference in helping us to support people to make the best recovery from stroke that they can.”
