The Account Director will manage and oversee all aspects of 2 Key Retail Accounts, developing a complete understanding of their requirements on both existing and new business

The Account Director will manage and oversee all aspects of 2 Key Retail Accounts, developing a complete understanding of their requirements on both existing and new business.

You will lead, manage and develop an efficient, motivated team to ensure NPD procedures and processes result in constant innovative brand/range development. Establish financial targets and boundaries for customers and agree customer margin requirements as well as negotiate costs and specifications with suppliers.

You will continually communicate with the customers regarding the strategic direction of brands/range, the progress of individual projects including all financial aspects, R&D development, packaging & design development and all other appropriate aspects.

You must have a full understanding of manufacturing processes, be able to work closely with the demand team to monitor stock levels and supply performance. Collaborate with all internal departments purchasing / packaging / systems / technical / production to ensure consistent supply and delivery of all products and NPD you must also help resolve any issues that arise.

You must have a creative mind, keep abreast of developments and innovations within the cosmetic and personal care industry and enjoy developing concepts for new beauty brands.

Experience managing business development and extension with Boots, Marks & Spencer, Next, Tesco, Sainsbury or Superdrug is essential.
