Alcan Packaging Beauty sale completed

Sale of packaging specialist to Sun European finalised


The sale of Alcan Packaging Beauty by Rio Tinto to an affiliate of Sun European Partners has been completed according to the packaging specialist.

Upon completion Sun European acquires the entire Alcan Packaging Beauty business, including operating sites and sales offices, as well as the division headquarters in Gennevilliers, near Paris.

“We believe that our new ownership will offer Alcan Packaging Beauty an exciting future,” commented Francois Luscan, president, Alcan Packaging Beauty. “Sun’s support with time and resources and its experience in business development combined with Alcan Packaging Beauty’s assets will enable us to develop a strong platform of growth and always offer the best possible value to our customers.”
