The McQueen team visited Kew Gardens in London to learn about floral scents and fragrance ingredients

Alexander McQueen has unveiled a new fragrance called McQueen Eau de Parfum (from £55).

Creative Director Sarah Burton said that the team wanted to create something that was “truly unique” and “told a story” after a visit to London’s Kew Gardens. The McQueen team took part in a workshop to learn about different floral scents.

The fragrance contains top notes of black pepper, clove and pink pepper; heart notes of sambac jasmine and tuberose; and base notes of ylang ylang. The flacon is made of clear glass, which shows off the pastel pink liquid inside. With a black lid, the bottle also has a gold and black label.
