Animal instincts: Wild-inspired launches became the post-lockdown make-up trend

Opportunities to wear make-up have been few and far between in the past year, but with a new found freedom, many cosmetic giants have heralded the decade as the 'roaring 20s'.

"Putting on lipstick again will be a symbol of returning to life," said the then CEO of L’Oréal Jean-Paul Agon in February.

The 1920s has also inspired Google searches, reported Note Cosmetics, with the likes of red lipstick and coral blush becoming more popular.

But post-lockdown freedom has also sparked a new colour cosmetics trend and another meaning to 'roaring 20s': wild make-up.
