About College

LCBT is a Specialist Vocational College, established in 1995 for Beauty, Retail, Holistic and related sectors and remains the largest Beauty Therapy College nationally, widely renowned within the Beauty Industry. LCBT has now expanded to offer a wide range of employability training, apprenticeships and a range of Health & Fitness courses.

LCBT achieved an OFSTED Grade 2 (Good) during its last inspection and holds the Matrix Standard for Internal and External Advice, Information and Guidance and the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Standard.

Job Overview

To work with others inside and outside LCBT to create, develop, implement and maintain a viable Apprenticeship offer, which meets stringent targets that include enrolment, retention and success, serving a wide variety of different clients, especially within Retail Beauty and Fitness.

It is an exciting time for LCBT, which continues to identify new markets, new partners and new cohorts of learners. Future growth areas include Beauty Retail, Fitness, Leisure and Tourism. Our specialism within Beauty Therapy has enabled us to establish a strong grounding within the Leisure and Tourism industries.

Essential to the Role

  • Assessing qualification
  • Internal Verifier/Quality Assurance qualification
  • Relevant occupational experience
  • Successful track record within a commercial target driven business delivery environment delivering apprenticeship programmes at a national level
  • Experience of working with government funding and Apprenticeship agencies
  • Successful people management experience including Assessors and associated delivery staff
  • Experience of achieving challenging targets for income and expenditure and meeting budgets
  • Experience of organisation review and change projects, which informs your approach to these issues
  • Significant successful experience of OFSTED inspections
  • Compiling self assessment reports and quality improvement plans based on statistical and qualitative analyses
