Avon has announced the launch of a new fragrance with actress Sofia Vergara. Called So Very Sofia by Sofia Vergara ($38), the scent is a floral, fruity scent and will be available through Avon representatives and on avon.com.
Meg Lerner, Vice President of North America Beauty and Fashion & Home at Avon, said: “Sofia is such an inspiring woman. Vergara commented: “Avon’s mission is really important to me. The brand offers women a way to build themselves up and achieve financial security, and that’s something I strongly believe in. Making this fragrance available exclusively through Avon is my way of supporting that goal. I want to help empower each woman to take control of her life, and gain the confidence and ability to achieve her dreams.”
So Very Sofia is said to have top notes of passion fruit, a heart of delicate Flor de Mayo Orchid – the national flower of Vergara’s native Colombia and a base of herbal patchouli.
Vergara already has two fragrances created in partnership with Parlux Fragrances – Sofia by Sofia Vergara and Love By Sofia Vergara. This is the first scent from the actress that will be sold through Avon Cosmetics.
