US actress Leighton Meester has been named as the new global spokesperson for L'Oréal Luxe owned skin care brand Biotherm. The 27 year old, whose breakout role was as Blair Waldorf in TV show Gossip Girl, will debut as Biotherm's brand ambassador in its next face care campaign, due in early 2014.
Commenting on the choice, Patrick Kullenberg, Biotherm International General Manager, said: “Leighton Meester is a contemporary icon, a young star whose natural talent, energy and beauty have made her the face of a generation. She’s the perfect expression of Biotherm skin care’s essential values: fresh modernity and natural beauty. She was an obvious choice to represent our brand.”
