This growing demographic requires a tightly-focused look when it comes to packaging. Black Leopard worked with Quadpack to develop solutions for all products in the range.
Designed for the “everyday man, the weekend warrior or the trend-setter within”, Black Leopard offers “a sleek, masculine, desirable and gender specific range that will have your back every day of the week.”
The range’s look and feel ties in strongly with the brand’s message, as well as the needs of the male skincare market in general. The chosen packs blend seamlessly together and support the brand claim of male skincare that works. The packs work, too, using Yonwoo’s patented airless technology to protect the advanced formula.
The Black Leopard range uses Yonwoo airless Jumbo and Jumbo Slim, with tubes, a jar and a roll-on to match. The Jumbo in particular offers good proportions for a men’s range, with solid, chunky dimensions.
Matt black finishing gives the packs a great touch sensation. The purple silk screen is identifiable with the branding, while the shiny silver elevates the luxuriousness of the brand. Overall, the branding is strong with the packaging, the colours aligning and working well together, to drive home the message of “no mess and fuss… it works!”
Initially showcased at Cosmoprof Hong Kong 2015, Black Leopard opened up its first store in the popular shopping location on Chapel Street, Melbourne, Australia, early this year.
