Seven projects spanning four continents will receive new funds

Seven projects spanning four continents will receive new funds to alleviate suffering and provide hope in communities that have suffered poverty and injustice.

CPL Aromas has recently announced a new donation of £150,000 to CAFOD to support specific projects across the world that will improve the lives of those suffering poverty and injustice.

Projects that will benefit from the new funding include a new initiative in Malawi to provide HIV testing and counselling where a huge proportion of the male population are HIV positive and have limited access to treatment.

In Sudan the company is able to continue the investment to build new schools, as this has proved effective. This new initiative will provide funds for the development of seven new schools in Khartoum.

CPL Aromas is continuing with the project in Israel that supports Arab women to find employment and help secure their rights.

New funding has been made available to assist the plight of adolescent girls in Nicaragua who continue to suffer from commercial sexual exploitation.

A new and ambitious project will be undertaken in Kenya seeking to install Green energy including solar power in rural areas of the country.

Important projects will be undertaken in Peru to support the economic integration of women in communities throughout the country.

In Cambodia, CPL will support a programme that is intended to protect natural resources and reduce the risk of natural disasters while helping to increase the incomes of the indigenous peoples.

CPL Aromas is a committed partner to CAFOD, having been involved with charity since 2001.

CAFOD works in more than 60 countries tackling poverty and injustice and is part of the global Caritas family who provide assistance to the poor, the vulnerable and the excluded.
