CPL Aromas announces new funding programme for CAFOD

Seven projects spanning four continents will receive new funds from the firm


CPL Aromas recently announced a new donation of £150,000 to CAFOD to support specific projects across the world that will improve the lives of those who suffer poverty and injustice.

Projects that will benefit from the new funding include a new initiative in Malawi to provide HIV testing and counselling where a huge proportion of the male population are HIV positive and have limited access to treatment. In Sudan, the company will continue its investment to build schools, with this new initiative providing funds for the development of seven new schools in Khartoum. Other continuing projects include one in Israel that supports Arab women to find employment and help secure their rights; and a new project in Kenya that will seek to install green energy including solar power in rural areas of the country.

CPL Aromas is a committed partner to CAFOD, having been involved with charity since 2001. CAFOD work in more than 60 countries tackling poverty and injustice, and is part of the global Caritas family who provide assistance to poor, vulnerable people worldwide.
