Can Indian beauty brands break into the luxury market?


As the country's economy grows, India is in line to produce an international brand

India has seen its millionaire count surge from 196,000 to more than a quarter million in the last year alone, according to new stats from wealth intelligence company Wealth X. But the country is still yet to produce a luxury personal care brands that appeals not just to affluent domestic consumers but also to high net worth individuals internationally.

But some analysts say it is only a matter of time before this changes.
