Clarins targets Millennial market with natural launch, My Clarins

In January, French cosmetics company Clarins will launch a new ‘clean beauty’ skin care brand called My Clarins.

Clarins’ usual customer is aged 30-plus, a company representative told Cosmetics Business, but the new range targets the 18-29 age group.

The first nine skus will be released on Clarins’ website and via Sephora.

Meanwhile, the formulations are mostly of natural origin, vegan and are housed in recycled packaging, featuring white tubs with coloured lids.

The products are based on the brand's 'Healthy Skin [In & Out] Complex', which targets skin issues on two fronts, with coconut water to nourish and Alpine Rose extract to clarify the skin.
