Clinical Research Laboratories has acquired Suncare Research Laboratories a leading provider of specialised testing in SPF, UVAPF (in vivo and in vitro), phototoxicity and photo-allergenicity

On the 13th May 2016, Clinical Research Laboratories acquired Suncare Research Laboratories who are a leading provider of specialised testing in SPF, UVAPF (in vivo and in vitro), phototoxicity and photo-allergenicity. on the 13th May 2016. The acquisition will leverage the strengths of both companies’ industry-leading services, clinical expertise, and proven ability to deliver accurate and timely study results.

“The combination of our two companies is highly strategic as it expands CRL’s geographic reach and materially increases panelist pool access and clinical testing capacity,” said Marc Shaffer, CRL President.

Joe and Bill Stanfield will remain active in the Suncare business as Bill Stanfield will manage the North Carolina facility and Joe Stanfield will continue to offer his expertise as a consultant. Along with their experienced staff, they will continue to provide the same high level of expertise and customer service.
