After receiving several complaints about the shortage of Colgate-Palmolive products on Venezuelan shelves, the Superintendencia Nacional para la Defensa de los Derechos Socioeconómicos (SUNDDE), Venezuela’s government authority for the public’s socio-economic rights, has launched an investigation.
The allegations brought against Colgate-Palmolive accuse it of employing unethical business practices that led to country-wide shortages of toothpaste, dishwashing liquid and fabric softener.
