Cornelius joins National Association of Chemical Distributors

Cornelius Group, an independent European distributor of high quality, innovative specialty chemicals and ingredients to the health and nutrition, care products and industrial sectors has become a member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD).

NACD is the industry association for the United States and represents chemical distributors and their supply chain partners. Headquartered in Washington DC, NACD has nearly 450 members which represent more than 85 per cent of the chemical distribution capacity.

Neville Prior, Chairman of Cornelius Group, said: “We are the first organisation in the world to join NACD under its International Affiliate membership category which is for ‘Global Distribution Partners’. We are delighted to join such a prestigious and recognised US trade body."

Established in 1971, NACD is an international association and has a very strong membership with both distributors and manufacturers. Member companies process, formulate, blend, re-package, warehouse, transport, and market chemical products for over 750,000 customers.

The chemical distribution industry that NACD represents is a major economic engine, with members representing more than 85 per cent of the chemical distribution capacity and 90 percent of the industry's gross revenue.

Cornelius Group operates across a range of markets including health and nutrition, care products and industrial sectors. The company has also significantly diversified its product offer in recent years.
