With Corpack’s newest Design and made in the EU, the company succeeded in developing a 2-piece compact, which demonstrates the perfect union of lid and base.
The focus of the form concept is on the bottom side of the lid, which disappears completely in the base of the compact. In a closed state there is just a thin portion of the lid to be seen. The bottom of the lid lies on a chamfer of the compact base, which also sets the stage for the content. In a compelling contrast to the thick bottom side of the lid there is a thin outer edge, which accentuates the overall concept. Corpack placed an emphasis on the function of closure. With an easy-open compact, there is a user friendly and attractive opening space located just under the lid, allowing easy and “finger-nail-preserving” access to opening the compact.
This simplistic shape with the straight-lined edges, essentially expresses a timeless, yet characteristically unique looking compact that can be made to look different by changing only colour and/or graphics. The big surface gives a lot of freedom for individual graphic presentation. At the same time, a normally two-piece window effect can be achieved with only a decoration, cutting down on number of parts and costs.
On the other hand, this beautifully simple shape can be elegantly metallised or lacquered to give this package a more up-scale appeal.
