Aware of the potential development of plastic materials in the luxury packaging and POS market, the young company developed its organisation into this organisation. DAPY was the first company in the world to present transparent and rigid materials for the luxury packaging industry. In 1992, DAPY was the first European company in its sector to invest in production plants in Asia and develop new technology and large-scale production at better cost. To go further in the excellence of its creations and to meet our customers demands, DAPY extended its expertise and transposed its industrial skills to other materials and processes: fabrication, thermoforming, paperboard, wood, metal, textiles, and light and sound systems. The combination of these techniques and materials allows DAPY to always push towards further innovative bespoke solutions in packaging and POS to the luxury sector.
MASTERING DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGIES
Our production plants in China and Taiwan are complementary and offer various ways of achievements in order to produce small and large series. DAPY has been a pioneer in its sector by setting up in Asia. So we have a large experience in this region to control the manufacturing process, from the design to the delivery.
Each production is subject to internal and external quality controls. This double QC ensures optimum quality. In addition, these production centres have passed the audits of the biggest actors of the luxury industries.
PROTOTYPING
DAPY has two prototyping workshops, one in France and one in China, for the best reactivity to bring your ideas to life. We provide functional mock-ups and prototypes of the highest quality. Prototypes are closed to 95% of the final product, studied to be manufactured in series. This is a very important point, in order to help our customers to make the final decision.
