The new owners of department store chain Debenhams say they plan to shut up to 22 stores by early next year, putting up to 1,200 jobs at risk.
The announcement is part of a wider plan to close up to 50 stores it the retailer as the new owners move to shore up the chain's future.
According to Sky News, Debenhams is reportedly days away from launching a CVA and have appointed KMPG to oversee the transition.
