Brand unveils new range by Creative and Image Director

Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior, has created his first colour collection for the label. Designed to appeal to "the Dior woman", the collection includes metallic eyes, taupe lips and khaki-grey nails.

The range includes the new Dior Addict Fluid Shadow (£25), a long-wearing liquid eye shadow with a magnetic shimmer. Philips commented: "With a single brush stroke, Dior Addict Fluid Shadow gives eyelids the lacquer-like shine of a screen of light." The product is available in six shades.

A new, single-shade powder has also been added to the line – Diorskin Nude Cosmopolite (£45.50). The powder is said to give a custom result depending on skin type and features the Dior logo embossed on its surface.

Dior has also created Backstage Pro Fix It concealer (£23.50) – a multipurpose conceealer based on the professional techniques used by make-up artists. Philips said: "Fix It is more than a make-up formula for touch-ups, it's a professional tool designed for all women. It can be used, for example, to tone down lip colour, fade dark circles or conceal small skin blemishes." The product is available in three shades.

Make-up artist Philips was announced as the new Creative and Image Director for Dior last year shortly after leaving his role as Creative Director for Chanel's make-up line in 2013. He now oversees Dior's make-up range as well as working on beauty looks for catwalk collections and brand campaigns. The new products are due to hit stores this month.
