Specialty chemicals company Elementis, which supplies sun and skin care ingredients, saw its share price crash 17% to 257p last week, following a bleak profits warning.

The British-based FTSE 250 company has been hit by a double whammy of tumbling oil prices and weakened Chinese demand for its additives arm. However, personal care sales have also been hit and profits have fallen below what Elementis judges acceptable.
