Elemis has announced the launch of several new products, the first of which promises to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area. Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks (£46), the newest addition to the British brand's Pro-Collagen anti-ageing range, contain a cocktail of seaweeds, including moisturising marine algae Padina pavonica and potent plankton extract to stretch the collagen network for an instant skin tightening and lifting effect. Meanwhile, hyaluronic acid has a hydrating and cooling effect to boost microcirculation, and chlorella helps to firm, tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots under the eyes.
Elemis recommends that the single use eye masks be used on a weekly basis. The masks should be left on for 20 minutes and once removed skin is non-tacky and ready for make-up application.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of its Frangipani Monoi range, Elemis is also unveiling a light textured Frangipani Monoi Body Cream (£42). The frangipani scented cream is formulated with macadamia oil and Tahitian monoi oil to hydrate and protect skin.
Finally, to support Breast Cancer Care, the brand will introduce a limited edition 100ml version of its Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (£99), which launches in July 2014. Featuring an embossed silver lid depicting the 'hero' marine ingredients, the moisturiser comes in a pink velvet pouch. Elemis has pledged to donate £10,000 to Breast Cancer Care to help provide support and information for individuals affected by breast cancer.
