Duo will develop and produce renewable specialty polymers


Elevance Renewable Sciences and Arkema have announced the creation of a global strategic partnership, which will see the two couples develop and produce renewable specialty polymers.

Under the agreement, Elevance will provide novel and functional renewable starting materials including 9-decenoic methyl ester from its biorefineries, while Arkema will bring its expertise in bio-based specialty polymers.
