Spa buys in-office beauty services

Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa has announced the acquisition of Manicube – an in-office beauty and grooming service. The purchase is part of the company's plan to bring its spa expertise into the office.

Manicube launched three years ago with the aim of improving the lives of professionals working in corporate offices. It parters with HR managers in corporate offices to arrange weekly services said to increase employee satisfaction and productivity. Users can book appointments directly with Manicube. The company also offers corporate parties and client gifting.

Manicube offers nail services and male barbering across four key markets: New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and Boston, supported by an innovative technology platform. It currently serves around 200 corporate clients working across industries including finance, accounting, consulting, law, advertising, publishing, retail and a number of Fortun 500 companies.

The partnership between Manicube and Red Door Spa will expand the existing corporate service to include beauty and wellness treatments from 2016 onwards.
