Published: 24-Jun-2015

The course will run in collaboration with the Fashion Retail Academy

The Estée Lauder Companies has collaborated with the Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) to launch an accredited retail management programme.

The six-month Estée Lauder Companies Retail Management Programme is designed to provide beauty retail, counter or business managers with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage high volume accounts and work in a multi touch point consumer environment.

Rebecca Day, Head of HR for The Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland, said: “At The Estée Lauder Companies we are very proud of the unique opportunities we offer in career progression from on-counter roles to Senior Executive level. We are the only premium beauty group to offer this unique proposition. At The Estée Lauder Companies we believe retail should be seen as an aspirational career, and our aim in launching the programme is to dispel many misconceptions around shop-floor roles whilst at the same time illustrate the fantastic opportunities for career development. Today’s retail beauty professionals are front-line marketeers, customer relationship managers and consumer insight experts; and The Estée Lauder Companies’ unique offering looks to hone these skills by giving managers a unique opportunity not just to excel in their current role but to progress within the organisation."

Launching in August, the programme will be available across The Estée Lauder Companies’ brands to those that have been with the company for one year or more.

It is the first time a cosmetics company has undertaken such a partnership with the FRA.
