Santiago Sabatés announced an ambitious corporate expansion plan and new investments in the Mexican plant

Eurofragance celebrated its 25th anniversary with a great event at the Hotel W in Barcelona, which was attended by more than 300 guests. During his speech, Santiago Sabatés, CEO and founder of the fragrance company talked about “the importance of a team that has shared my passion for perfumery and a project that is growing year on year”. Sabatés highlighted the capacity for growth of a company whose turnover has reached €53.7 million, has more than 210 employees and sells to 60 countries on five continents.

Santiago Sabatés, who founded the company when he was 25 years old, keeps an ambitious expansion plan. New features of the company's strategy are a vigorous expansion plan in Asia and strengthening its position in Latin America by adding to the team, as well as further investments in the Mexican plant to increase its production capacity.

Felip Puig, Minister for Business and Employment of the Government of Catalonia, was guest of honour at the event. He took the opportunity to praise the ability of the company to create jobs and wealth. The event was also attended by the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, Salem R. Alowais, representatives of the Turkish Consulate and Terrassa Chamber of Commerce and clients, suppliers, collaborators and company employees from more than 20 different countries.


Eurofragance, “Capturing sensations” since 1990

Eurofragance is an international, family-owned company dedicated to the design and production of fragrances for perfumery, personal and home care products. It was created in 1990 with the slogan “Capturing sensations”.  It creates unique fragrances in which it invests its creativity, passion and know-how so as to give its customers’ products an added value.

Eurofragance has local presence in over 60 countries and its sales span the five continents.  Its subsidiaries are located in Turkey, Mexico, Dubai and Singapore and it has production plants in Barcelona and Mexico D.F. Furthermore, it has exclusive distribution in the Philippines and a sales office in Poland. It has a turnover of 53.7 million euros and employs over 200 professionals.

Eurofragance is a socially responsible company. It is committed to education and offers scholarships to students at IQS (Chemistry Institute of Sarria) in Barcelona and collaborates with UPC Campus (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) in Terrassa in the Aromas and Fragrances Master, which it provides with material and teaching staff. It is part of the Patronage Council of Pascual Maragall Foundation, collaborating on research in Alzheimer’s. It participates in research on the effects of olfactory therapies applied to neurodegenerative diseases in childhood. It develops policies for the reconciliation of family and working life for its employees.
