Eurofragance to inaugurate a new creative centre in Dubai in 2015

The new creative centre is aimed at increasing sales in other product categories in the area

Eurofragance, an international company dedicated to the design and production of fragrances, plans to open its new creative centre in Dubai in July 2015. An investment of more than €2m went into the new centre, which is aimed at boosting business in the Gulf area.

Eurofragance is a leading company in fragrances for the perfume sector in this area and wants to forge a closer relationship with its customers in order to more quickly understand their likes and trends, streamline the execution of projects and penetrate other sectors such as Air Care and Personal Care. The new creative centre will be located in Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park, a reference business cluster in the area. Its installations will span 1,000 sqm and will include a laboratory, creative zone, evaluation cabins and offices.

The new project will require 16 people to carry out activities in fragrance design, evaluation, applications, sample manufacturing and marketing as well as sales, logistics and corporate aspects. This creative centre is a strong driving force for the main headquarters located in Barcelona. According to the Eurofragance company strategy, the headquarters will become a creative hub of international reference for subsidiaries. Furthermore, it will make resources available for the development of new categories, especially in Mass Market Fine Fragrances, Air Care and Personal Care where the company seeks to boost growth.

It must be pointed out that the Sabatés family repurchased 25% of the company’s shares, which were temporarily in the hands of an investment group; therefore, the family holding company now owns 100% of the company. The company seeks to continue the steady growth it has experienced since its beginnings.  It currently has two production centers and two creative centers in Barcelona and Mexico City. The opening of this new creative center coincides with Eurofragance’s 25th anniversary.

 

Eurofragance, “Capturing sensations” since 1990

It is committed to education and offers scholarships to students at IQS (Chemistry Institute of Sarrià) in Barcelona and collaborates with UPC Campus (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) in Terrassa in the Aromas and Fragrances Master, which it provides with material and teaching staff. It is part of the Patronage Council of Pasqual Maragall Foundation, collaborating on research in Alzheimer’s. It participates in research on the effects of olfactory therapies applied to neurodegenerative diseases in childhood. It develops policies for the reconciliation of family and working life for its employees.
