English Rose Cosmetics, a newcomer to the cosmetics market, has developed a foaming cleanser, Fair of Face, the seventh in its line of ecoproducts that are also not tested on animals.
According to the company, established in 2012, the cleanser is “effective at reducing blemishes while still being mild enough for sensitive skin.” The ingredients include 20% natural plant actives. Quillaja Saponaria Molinas⎯also known as Chilean Soaptree bark⎯is the primary cleansing agent, at a concentration of 6%. Other ingredients in Fair of Face include water, glycerine, barley protein, sucrose laureate, decyl glucoside, and ginger oil.
English Rose face products also include Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed lightening eye cream, Nighty Night cream and Daily Defence moisturiser. Fair of Face (£15.00/160ml) is available for purchase online at the company's website and on Amazon.com.
