Brand is also jumping on the BB cream bandwagon

From February, French cosmeceutical brand Filorga is releasing a new beauty serum designed to prevent hyperpigmentation caused by sun damage. The new Pigment-Perfect (£49) was inspired by Filorga’s finding that 30% of women aged between 30 to 39 are worried about brown spots and pigmentation.

With regular use, Pigment-Perfect is claimed to lead to a visible reduction in brown spots caused by sun exposure, hormones, ageing and inflammation.

The formula contains hop extract to regulate pigmentation, vitamin C to clear the skin, along with Chrysanthellum indicum, a South American plant that is believed to act as an anti-inflammatory and healing agent.

Meanwhile, the brand is also releasing a new BB cream that is said to combine anti-ageing and complexion correcting benefits in a single product. The BB-Perfect Anti-Ageing Beauty Balm is designed to help remove fine lines and scar tissue due to its use of maize extract, while simultaneously soothing irritation and redness in the skin.

Available from May, BB-Perfect will be launched in two shades; 01 Light Beige and 02 Golden Sand. It will be priced at £35.75.
