First taste of sugar from Aquolina

Published: 18-Oct-2013

Italian fragrance brand Aquolina has launched an oud based perfume, Black Sugar, as an oriental take on its famous juice Pink Sugar fragrance.

Black Sugar features head notes of amber, oud and myrrh, heart notes of the original vanilla and raspberry of Pink Sugar and base notes of leather, incense and sandalwood.

It will be available as a 100ml edt, in the same tall, cylindrical deodorant-style bottle as previous Aquolina perfumes, but this time in a black colourway with gold Arabic inspired writing. Pricing is expected to be €53.

Aquolina is a brand name of the Italian cosmetics company Selectiva, which was primarily known for its yoghurt based body care range until the launch of Pink Sugar, the hit fragrance for women, in 2003. The company now has around 11 fine fragrances in production, along with an Aquolina branded personal care product offering.
