You will take care of:

  • Responsible for operational Fragrance Management projects as well as participation in strategic assignments in fragrance development
  • Independent steering of concept-related perfume development together with external partners
  • Further development of global, strategic signature fragrances for Beiersdorf’s brands, including cross-category activities
  • Global governance role in steering and implementing Beiersdorf’s signature fragrances
  • Conception and planning of projects and studies to secure and further develop Beiersdorf’s fragrance strategies
  • Initiation and coordination of scientific or technological cooperations with external partners
  • Provision of perfume-related trends, product and concept ideas as part of our innovation management
  • Portfolio management of fragrances with respect to regulatory, safety and commercial requirements

What it takes

  • University degree (preferably in sciences), Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s with first experience in a relevant area of personal care fragrance development
  • Experience in technical perfumery with respect to fragrance safety and stability requirements
  • Some years of experience in dealing professionally with external partners as well as in strategic and creative cooperation with external partners
  • Long-term international experience
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, second foreign language desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, independent and cooperative way of working in interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Analytical skills and structured way of working
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
