Freauty, a UK online beauty and wellness professional treatment booking service, has acquired on-demand beauty service Zeebba.

The takeover is Freauty’s second deal in two months; in June it acquired CitySwish, a London-based on-demand beauty treatments business.

Freauty’s CEO Kit Chong explained the latest acquisition is part of a long term strategy for the company to build its portfolio of like-minded businesses.

He said: “The mobile beauty space is expanding and having an opportunity to leverage some synergistic value was key for Freauty.

"By adding Zeebba to our existing portfolio we’re in a stronger position to scale up our operations to further tap this lucrative market whilst simultaneously being in a position to offer an even greater service.”

Following the acquisition, Freauty will have access to Zeebba’s back-end operations and will combine them to offer consumers a wider selection of beauty professionals.

Roxana Mohammadian-Molina, CIO of finance advisory company Paros Capital, will step down as Zeebba’s CEO and join Freauty Group’s Board.

Mohammadian-Molina has made headlines previously for speaking out about the risks she took to wear make-up in her home country of Iran.

She said: “It makes solid business sense to partner with Freauty Group and their CEO Kit Chong. This move will accelerate our mutual growth and help empower women to look and feel their very best no matter how much time they don’t have.”
