Speciality ingredients company Gattefossé has brought out Gatuline Spot-Light, a new ingredient that is claimed to target the causes of age spots on both epidermal and dermal levels.
Obtained from Sophora flavescens and kiwi fruit, the ingredient uses a targeted extraction technique to optimize the concentration in two key molecules, Sophoraflavanone G and Matrine. In a study, over 90% of panelists confirmed the decreased visibility of their age spots after use versus a placebo.
